ABF The Soldier's Charity
It is two weeks today that my latest collaboration was released, and the response has been wonderful, thank you.
Working with ABF The Soldier’s Charity has been an absolute pleasure. Their links to the Chelsea Pensioners, and seeing the range I helped produce last year was how I got this brief.
ABF The Soldiers’ Charity is the British Army’s National Charity and provides a lifetime of support for soldiers, veterans and their families. All profits from its shop go directly towards helping the Army family when they need it.
An amazing charity with a fantastic essential need for our veterans and their families.

The brief was to create a fresh design showcasing what the charity does. produced onto products to raise money for the charity.
One of my favourite parts to any project is always the research, I love walking around the museum/place and speaking to people who work their or ambassadors of the place. Taking their passion and hopefully putting that into the design.
A slightly different process this time around, lockdown meant all our meetings were ‘virtual’ and design drafts were sent via email, rather than discussing in person.
However... looking at their website and social media, I came across their podcast ‘ABF The Soldiers’ Charity Conversations’. It was a brilliant source of hearing exactly what the charity does from the people who are supported by them.
In the design I wanted to capture some of the words and images that were inspired by the podcast.
One lady had lost her son and she campaigns and fundraises for the charity. As an ambassador she tells her story to help promote the charity, and to keep his memory alive.
The Charity goes above and beyond for soldiers, veterans and their families and I hope this range can go some way to help raise funds for their futures.
